Cutline Free | A prompt design app for Seedance 2.0 / 2.5 (free, Mac / Windows) A free desktop app for organising a Seedance prompt — references, characters, time, camera, audio, and end state.** Cutline Free builds the prompt you hand to a generation service with Seedance 2.0 or 2.5, and gives you a way to check it before you send. It does not generate video or audio. There is no time limit and no usage limit. If designing by hand is enough, the free edition will keep doing the job. ⚠ Read this before downloading: your OS will warn you at install time When you install and launch the app for the first time, your operating system will show a security warning. Nothing is broken and no file is damaged. The app does not carry a paid code signature, so the OS reports that it cannot verify the publisher. You can continue with the steps below. - **Windows**: "Windows protected your PC" → **More info** → **Run anyway** - **Mac**: "cannot verify the developer" → **right-click** the app (or Control-click) → **Open** → **Open** again On a Mac this is only needed the first time; after that a normal double-click works. What the free edition does - 27 knowledge entries, with evidence level and verification date - A prompt builder that works down the page: basics, references, characters, timeline, audio, end state - Seedance 2.0 / 2.5 switching and comparison - 25 static checks for things like overlapping time ranges and missing reference numbers - Direct editing of every section of the finished prompt - Copy, export as TXT, save and restore as JSON - Sample projects for a 15-second commercial and a vertical social spot - "Check this computer's specs" — reads your memory, graphics, and free disk space The static checks do not guarantee a successful generation or the quality of the result. Apple Silicon and Intel - Windows: Windows 10 22H2 or later, 64-bit - The manual builder has no memory requirement for a local AI The installers are unsigned. The first launch shows an OS confirmation: on Mac, right-click the installed app and choose "Open"; on Windows, choose "More info" then "Run anyway". There are no features specific to Sora, Veo, or Kling. - It does not upload, store, analyse, or transmit your asset files. It organises their numbers and roles as text. - Sharing, transferring, or redistributing the application, and analysing it to obtain or reuse its internal implementation, are not permitted. Nothing in Cutline Free restricts personal or commercial use of the prompts you create with it. - If Seedance or a similar service changes its specifications, treat the service's current display as authoritative.
